Fremantle Doctor' is the name of the breeze that freshens up the heat of West Coast in the afternoon. I like to go for a walk to the beach around 5 pm. Sometimes the wind is too strong and sand stings as you walk, sometimes it just sways the coastal grass and draws intricate patterns on the sand. No matter what, it always makes me want to come back here.
The artwork is created in experimental technique: pure pigments were applied in watercolour technique as an under-painting followed by soft pastels work sealed by spray-on varnish and cold wax medium.
